Description
The Department of Cardiology and CardioVascular Center offer services to patients suffering from heart conditions such as heart disease and Cardiomyopathy. Tufts Medical Center has performed more heart transplant procedures in the last five years than any other hospital in New England for patients with heart failure. Our experienced cardiologists also collaborate with physicians in other departments to provide services such as the Cardio-Oncology program, which specializes in helping patients who may be more at risk for cardiac problems due to their cancer treatment.
